215 45 R18 Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 Tyres The Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 is an ultra high-performance tyre that has been developed by Goodyear to deliver short braking distances and high-performance handling. To ensure that the tyre is capable of shorter braking distances, on both wet and dry roads, Goodyear has used their ActiveBraking technology in the construction of the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 - to increase the level of contact between the tyres and the road when braking. In tests against other leading competitors the tyre recorded, on average, 3 metres shorter braking distances on wet roads and 2 metres on dry. The tyre's impressive high-performance handling is thanks to the use of a high-surface silica compound - which works to improve traction on either wet or dry surfaces. The tyre's stiff carcass design aids in higher precision steering, especially when travelling at higher speeds.
